Bulletproof Vest prop (**PICS**)

Hey there guys, As this is my first post I thought I would introduce myself. I am Dane, A.k.a DHC2013. I have always wanted a Bullet proof vest prop, be it just for myself, airsoft gaming armor, or just a movie prop, I have never really had the time or the means to accomplish this, Well now I do so I decided to make a post on here and let you guys all follow along with my progress. I am moving tommorrow so this will only be a couple posts till after that. but here goes.
　
I am a bigger guy so the first thing i did was make a template, which consisted me taping together computer paper till i got the right shape and then cutting it out.

Be careful where you wear that. In some jurisdictions bulletproof vests are illegal without license. While this isn't a real bulletproof vest, I am sure you would get stopped.

That being said, I look forward to your build.

It's mostly going to be a prop something to hang on my wall or wear at Halloween or at airsoft games

Any idea what type/make of body armour you are going for? I think it'd help if you had a specific set of armour you wanted to copy, you can find plenty of reference photos on most tactical equipment shop websites, sometimes even 360degree images. I wear "body drama" for my work and there is quite a lot of fashion and snobbery about armour.
