I'm pretty new here so be gentle and if I'm posting in the wrong place, forgive me.

I was at Frys electronics the other day and found this awesome Pelican brand hard case com small electronics (perfect size for sunglasses btw)... I have been wanting to build a proper BTTF Plutonium case but hadn't gotten around to it. So I decided to make this bookshelf sized version... Here is my "riff" on the Doc Brown plutonium case.. imagining if the plutonium quantities Doc Brown needed were much smaller in size, and if Doc Brown were originating his time travel from the 2000's, this is the type of case that the samples would have come in.

(stickers were regular Avery label paper on an inkjet, graphic for warning sticker is readily available, and the text for the handling instructions, MSDS info, and "registry numbers and inventories" I found on the interwebz somewhere that described Plutonium in great detail.)

lets see if the pics work... Loose change for scale.

A few more pics... The model number of the pelican brand case, and the 2 things ill probably use this for...As a sunglasses case, and as a case for a phone power accessories (110v to usb, red usb cable, and the white thing is an external emergency 2300mah battery)

This was a fun, true $25 project (so far)... 14.99 for the case, some inkjet ink and Avery labels, and some dollar store glow sticks... The glow sticks are a fun placeholder until I make a miniature acrylic plutonium juice holder that looks more BTTF... For now we'll have to do with this BTTF/Simpson's mashup. :D

Looks pretty cool!

I like it :)

I had made something kind of similar a few years back when I made some Kryptonite sniper rounds. Your box looks a lot cooler than mine though. Mine was just a metal flat box with a weird texture and some biohazard symbols on there :lol

Very cool! (and they do make red glow sticks as well!)
