Whats the ballpark price for a pilot uniform? A friend and I have talked about this before and we haven't met anyone else who's made one before.

The original sommers material will cost $60+ per yard, and the company doesn't produce it except in large runs. I've only heard of one person who takes commissions for kick-a** screen-accurate suits, and he charges like $1200, even if you provide your own fabric. It's an expensive costume to do right, that's for sure!

I've been looking for the same material! Great info! It was a bit pricy, but snagged a small amount for my tiny project.

Hoping someone can answer this for me: what company makes the black Turbo material? Was it Sommers or another company? I've done some searches but haven't found anything.
