BSG Livery Ship - Studio Replica

Who can look at those pics of the ships flying in formation, and NOT have the "Battlestar Galactica" theme song in their mind. :)

Dang Sean, she's outstanding! I'm glad you tackled that particular ship. Its one of my faves!

I too want to know what you settled on for the cockpit piece.

One that Sean and I disproved . . . the hard way! LOL.

I still have a few laying around, and Sean does too . . .

All I can think of is Sean's wife asking when she's going to get her dining room back! :eek

Gene

LOL!

That's actually his basement! The REAL question from her is . . . "When do we get to play pool on the, uh, "workbench" that DOUBLES as a pool table!"

LMAO!

I can't wait to see this one in person, with the G and the Movers . . .

WOW!! :$

So many responses!! Geez, thanks everyone, most kind!!!

Rob/Jim,
The 'cockpit' turned out to be a total scratchbuild. I couldn't get the very front most lip right. Looking top down, it looks almost dead on, but front on, it doesn't have that nice 'spoonish' shape. After scrutinizing the black and white pics though, I was more and more convinced it was an 'enclosed' cockpit, not the clear 'spoon' in the restorations.

It's not perfect, but it works for me.

Gene, yeah, Ryan is right, I've used our Pool table for over 3 years now as my 'workbench'. I think my wife is DEFINITELY nearing the end of her patience. I promised to clean up for a couple weeks at least, so she knows what that means!! Yup, another ship is coming, but at least we'll get a few games of pool in before it disappears for a while!!

Thanks again for the comments!!!!
