I have the AP stormtrooper helmet and I am looking for new brow trim. I cant find it anywhere. Can someone point me in the right direction???

Go here for the real deal: sealsdirect

US52 for the brow trim
SWR150 for the neck hole trim

Easy to order and quick shipping to the US.

EDIT: sealsdirect designs may have changed or been altered from original style. See below.

Proceed with caution. I've heard they've 'changed the formula'. TM, didn't you experience this first-hand?

I bought the trim and I think they did change it. Doesn't work as well as the stuff on the SDS helmet. It's slightly different.

Yeah the SWR150 is more like the SWR149 which is much thicker and rounder where the old SWR150 was squared off with sharp edges. I sent my order back and got a refund, now I'm searching for better stuff again :unsure

Oops, I hadn't realized they'd changed anything. I ordered from them in Oct 2005 and both items were the correct stuff. When did they start messing with their designs?

im finally gettin a minute to work on my bucket again, id really like a source for the correct stuff as well... what i got with my kit looks cool on it... but it doesnt look right. neck trim is very close though...

hmm...

could no one ask them if they have anything the same shape as the old US52 stuff???

i was thinkin/hopin the real stuff was still available.

with all the talent and machinary on this forum, i cant believe someone doesnt make repro trim of all kinds, T-track etc. :unsure

would be a very good idea, theyd get alot O buisness.

Here's a (crappy) pic showing the differences between the two. Hopefully you can see how much squarer the SWR150 is compared to SWR149. Sealsdirecr sent me what looks like SWR149 and that's all they have.

thats about lame. :(

why wouldnt they just discontinue one... instead of makin a new type and using the old #s... kinda confusing for repeat customers... and what if in construction or somethin you ordered hundreds of feet of the stuff... even thousands...

yeah... lame.

So what's the state of the state with trim nowdays?

Was a better (and CHEAPER) substitute ever found?
