This came up in another thread, but I think it belongs in Paper props as well. The drawing that Ally Sheedy makes and then covers in "snow" from The Breakfast Club.

It also has gotten me thinking, what other paper props are there from The Breakfast Club?

I think it would be cool to write the essay out the Anthony Michael Hall does for the group. You could also try to grab a screen of the janitor picture from the beginning. I think he was like a head jock when he went to the school or something. a lot of people don't notice that. I also mentioned maybe making some detention slips.

Actually, it wasn't really an essay, it's more of a letter (especially since there's a "Dear Mr. Vernon," at the start.

I actually already had the cap of the janitor photo from the other day, I'm putting together a collage sort of thing with a lot of the stills from the opening.

Here's my stab at the letter/essay. Both the one from the opening naaration and the one from the end.

I put this together to use as a background for a display. It's comprised of screenshots of the rooms shown while the voice-over talks. The long shot of the locker was put together from several screenshots (color corrected, and adjusted for perspective change)

Very cool Spam. Your collage is now my wallpaper on my iPad. I have a suggestion or kinda a request. I have empty pill bottle and was thinking maybe with your cool PS skills you could make up a prescription label of like prozac or something for Ally Sheedy "Allison Reynolds" with a fake drug store named "Shermer Family Pharmacy" You get the idea.

Here's the pill bottle you wanted Amish Trooper, although I personally think it's the sort of thing that Allison actually wouldn't have. I think that we see as the movie goes on that the way Allison behaves is as much an act as Claire.

But, more to the point, the information about the pharmacy on this label is actually for a real pharmacy in Northbrook, IL (the actual 60062, and where John Hughes grew up) other than the name "Shermer Drugs" of course.

That's me. Never noticed it. :$ I've seen this movie dozens of times over the years and quoted most of the lines all through high school, but never noticed that Carl was "Man of the Year." Gonna have to pull it out and watch it over the weekend.

Spam you are the man. Like you I have ideas I was thinking the pill bottle fit though. also I thought that maybe making a report card for Anthony M. Halls " Brian Johnson" with all A's except for shop class because of the damn Elephant lamp... and I was going to use oregano or something and roll up into a baggy for Bender etc....

Thanks for all the encouragement guys. I think I'm gonna do all of the the detention slips over the weekend, but I will need some text for each of the reasons. Anybody want to volunteer to write what will go on the notes?

John bender pulled a fire alarm , Claire Standish was absent from class to go shopping, Brian Johnson was found to have a flare gun in his possession in his locker, Andrew Clark was caught physically assaulting another student in the boys locker room with a roll of duct tape...and Allison Reynolds had nothing better to do....

Hazelrah, that's the simple text but I think it should probably have more to it than that. Otherwise the notes will feel like they're empty.

Or I could be wrong, and it will feel forced if it has too much.
