Breakfast club display.

One of my all time favorite movies is The Breakfast Club and although I realize there aren't many actual props for the film I had an idea for what I thought was an interesting display. I am thinking of doing a display of all the things that got them into detention in the first place. A flare gun for Brian, a roll of duct tape for Andrew, a shopping bag for Claire,a fire alarm for John and since Alison had nothing better to do I was thinking of doing the drawing she did on the table but this is where I was hoping to possibly get some help from the screen cap gods of the RPF...is there any way to get a screen cap of the drawing? it would be greatly appreciated.

I too love this movie and was trying to figure out props. I thnk the statue would be a good start plus have some type of detention slips made up with the kids names on them. Um the diamond ear ring. fake ID for Brian with his velcro wallet the list goes on.

Some of the different posters along the hallways, Heck even a paper toilet seat cover...lol I have john benders outfit from the movie from halloween :)

There is no clear shot of the drawing before the addtion of the "snow", but here's the best shot I could find. I may try to clean it up in photoshop later on.

Awesome! thank you very much! this should help me flesh out my display nicely...Thank you again!

When it's done post some pics. John Hughes was my idol of the 80's. I visited the original Wax Trax location in Chicago that was featured in Pretty in Pink.

As always my mind keeps racing with new things I could potentially add...now I'm trying to think of where I could get a split top/bottom locker front to do benders locker...lol

Here is a more cleaned up version of the drawing. I've also included a version that's slightly bluish black (like it would be when drawn with a normal pen)

The more I look at it, the more I like it with the bit of "snow" on it. If someone else wants to put in the time to remove the "snow" pm me and I'll send you the file.

I make box sets for my sister in law. She is 14 and has never heard of the John Hughes classics (or any of the good pop culture). My recent trilogy had ferris bueller, say anything (Cameron crowe, I know), and... Breakfast club. I made the box as a large boom box with enough space over each DVD case for an object for the films. Sun glasses, a pen, and (the reason for this meandering post) claires lipstick... Revlon's kiss me coral.
