Anybody now what is best to glue foamies onto material? was thinking of a silcone based glue so it would still have some movement ....

Hot glue works pretty well for that, if you can do a thin layer at high temp it'll be just as flexible as silicone. Best to glue onto the material while it's on, so it takes the basic shape, but put a layer of something between the clothing and your skin. Heat transfer can be a *****.

Also spray adhesive if you have the facilities to contain the mess =0)

Hey guys, so I think I got the suit planned out, and my friend and I plan to make our outfits (he's doing Axton) pretty soon. I would love to have a sniper for the convention, and since my favorite sniper in the game is the Maliwan Volcano, I'd like to make one of those. Do you guys have any tips on how to make the gun, the scope(doesn't have to be a real scope), and most importantly, the awesome mag style and reload style it uses? All answers are appreciated! Thanks!

I would make a base for the gun by combining a Nerf Maverick with the muzzle and stock of a Nerf Longstrike. After that, I'd use balsa wood and Apoxie Sculpt to duplicate all the details. As for the scope, you can modify the scope of a Nerf Longshot...it even slots into the top of the Maverick. As for the loading and reloading style, I'm not familiar to the game so I couldn't help you with that...but on looks alone, as soon as I Googled the Maliwan Volcano, those two Nerf guns immediately popped into my head.

I'll post a couple pics of the sniper rifle I've made after the weekend, its not based on anything in particular, but I'll check out some pics of the one your looking to make an post any suggestions

Are you sure that was the Borderlands 2 Volcano? Those guns more resemble the Volcano from Borderlands.

I think I have a good idea for making the top half of zer0's costume. (The Body) I was thinking of buying a base layer top.

Then cutting out templates of the armor and use this person's method of gluing the armor to your baselayer top.
(He's doing fallout ncr armor but the same can apply to zer0armor)
