Boba Fett Post helmet from 95

My buddy and I used this helmet as our Christmas tree topper last year. It looked cool with the lights from the star coming out. I was wondering if anyone out there has turned one of these into a more accurate, costume worthy helmet. He's going back into the army for a while and I thought I would surprise him and have it redone. If it's possible...

Thanks,
John

I have one, but I haven't done anything with it yet. I always heard it was more accurate, but it doesn't seem all that different to me. I think it's too small for my head, actually.

I modded and repainted mine, but honestly with Sarge selling the MSH's for $90, you're better off getting the bigger, more accurate one. There's too much to have to reinforce in the DP to make it worth your time.

What are the MHS's? Thanks,
John

one of if not the best replica boba buckets.

MH refers to Mystery Helmet...

buy one from sarge if he still has one, then get steve the swede or the likes to paint it, and your buddy will not be surprised...

he will probably crap his pants. B)

I had one of the DP 95. I used to work for a halloween store and we only got three helmets in, and all the employees working at that moment bought one. I had it hanging in my room for years, until one day it fell off the wall and the antennae broke off the helmet leaving a nice little hole.:( I glued it (years before I belonged to any prop forums)with the wrong kind of glue and it never set right, my nephew picked it up and ripped it right off. I hung onto it for another year and I sent it to a guy on the Darth Vader costume board on yahoo, with the condition that he send me pics when he fixed it and did his mods. Really regretting giving it away like that. Sigh memories.

I'll have to post pics of my reworked DP 95 - it looks like your FG one. But it's still a tad small for costuming.
