Boba Fett helmet

hey guys,

I just won this awesome helmet off ebay. It looks awesome. I was curious what most people thought about a new paint job. Should I or should I leave it this way? I think someone did an exceptional job on the helmet, but I'm interested in a more accurate version. I bought the helmet with the intension of painting it, but once I got it, I felt like I would be destroying it if I did, so I thought I'd post to get a majority vote of what to do with it. Thanks.

Isn't that based on the prototype Fett? I kinda like it. You could go with a whole suit like that. It would be different and cool. Kinda like the guy who did the totally white Vader costume.

I'd repaint it to either ESB or ROTJ Fett.
But that is just me.

Depends on what you want to do with it. If you want to display it you could leave it be if you're happy with it. Otherwise if you purchased the bucket to pursue the completion of a screen accurate Fett I'd repaint it. Even with the "albino" Fett it is shown flawless white AFAIK.

I personally like the paint scheme as far as custom Mandos go.

I think the painter of this bucket wanted to realize one of the conceptional designs of Joe Johnston, which he has made for ESB, left at the bottom (it´s funny because the rangefinder has no sense at this point :lol ):

I reckon it looks cool as it's certainly different. Personally I would keep it, but it really is down to you. You bought it for a purpose and it's whether you can live and be happy with the current paint job, as well as be happy with buying another bucket to paint.

If you like the paintjob and don't have a ton of money tied up in this helmet, keep it and enjoy it.

Otherwise re-paint away. I recommend ROTJ style.

Nice helm, I love the white Fett helmet I had one painted for me a while back by White commando real nice job.
