Boba fett Helmet project.

Hi everyone. It's been a while since my last post on here. Due to having kids ect...... But now they are both at school I can resume my starwars builds. So I thought I would do a boba fett helmet for me and a scaled down one for my son. I'm going to do both projects at the same time. I'll post my progress as I go. :) So far I've built the basic adult helmet from some pepakura files I found on the net. I've used 200 cardstock for this. I've just got to make the ear pieces and keyslots on the back. And I need to make the dent in the top. I'm not going for full on screen accurate as that is a very frustrating path. I'm just going for a good representation. When I do the scaled down version I'll miss out the key slots and probably simplify the ears. I'll post some pictures later of where I'm at and keep this post going until both buckets are finished (however long that may take, lol).

Where I'm currently at. Not sure the front looks quite right. But I can allways alter that once I fiberglass it.

OK so it's been a while since I updated this build. Lol.

Quick update. I have finished my sons helmet as he was getting very impatient.

Progress on mine is coming along nicely.
I finished the Pepakura stage then fiberglass the inside.

I then fiberglassed and sanded the outside.

Then did multiple layers of body filler (bondo) and sanded again.

And this is where I am now with the adult one. I've added the dent and the front indentations. It's had several layers of highbuild primer and I'm now starting to layer the first few silver coats on.
