Blue Falcon costume FINISHED p. 2

A while back I decided to treat myself to sort of an "Iraq really sucks" present. So, I commissioned Kelly from KMD Theatrics to create a Blue Falcon suit for me. Yup, Blue Falcon from Hanna Barbara fame. I grew up with this character and I have always had a fondness for him. The only directions/input I gave Kelly was "Make it so that it looks like it could be "real life and not so comical, but keep it true to the character." Kelly exceeded every expectation I ever had. The bodysuit is finished, but not pictured. Unfortunately, I have to wait until April to try it on (I'm still in Iraq). I hope you like it as much as I do.

That's REALLY impressive IMHO and very unique... I always did like Blue Falcon when I was a kid. Now you just need Dino-Mutt

I love it. I too grew up with Blue Falcon and Dino-Mutt. Loved it. the Costume looks great.

Thanks for the kind words. To be honest, I wasn't sure how this particular costume would go over on this board. Outside the Reeve Superman and the various Batman movie incarnations, hero costumes aren't too popular.

Dyno Mutt.... I doubt my 100 lb ball of pure energy for a Lab would take too much to the Dyno Mutt costume. But, when not in use, this will be displayed on a mannequin, and quite possibly, a static Dyno Mutt.

As far as how much it cost..... it was a pretty penny. I probably could have bought a set of really good TK armor for the price of this. And boots. And bodysuit. But, I've wanted this for a while, so I'm really happy.

Thanks Wes. This post put a real smile on my face. I'm not kidding. Really made my day. I loved this cartoon as a kid, and every time I see Blue Falcon on Harvey Birdman, I think about how I've never seen a costume at Dragon Con.
