Just acquired this Hebel WWI Flaregun. Thinking about modifying it into a Star Wars style blaster. Thought I'd let the RPF brainstorm a little.

I think... (I've been wanting to do this too) I think if you sat the scope further back, so the rear bell sits over your hand (like the Han ANH blaster) it would balance out the design and keep it from being a pirate flintlock gun!

There´s not much room on his flaregun, but an imperial disc right about the grip section might look cool

Shape is a little different but it brought to mind Cad Bane.

The way it's squared up before the barrel reminds me of the DE-10 from Star Wars Galaxies.

The side of the cylinder and the flats underneath that and above the grip are ripe for greeblies. I'm almost seeing a mal-style pistol with that barrel length.
