Blanx Customizable Action Figures - A bit of a heads up.

I was checking out DeviantArt, looking up "custom action figures" and came across this. It's called a Blanx Customizable action figure. On their site, they've shown various figures made possible with the use of this blank figure, which included a couple of statuettes. I think maybe this may be useful for modeling and creating custom action figures (which is why I posted it in general modeling). Here's the link to the site. They've only got one available so far, and one color, but it's looking like they'll be expanding. And for $6.99 plus shipping and handling, it seems rather interesting. So, I'm giving a bit of a heads up on this here:

It's a pity that there is only one figure (Alpha) available.

Well, Charlie, according to the website, they're holding a poll for which one is to be released next. From the final results, the female figure may be the next one. I guess when they finish the poll, they'll set a release date for the next one and get it out. And then they'll probably start the poll again for which one is to come out after that, and the next one after that.

From what I read of the FAQ, they're considering on releasing different skintone versions as well as possibly "animated" versions (basically, those that look cartoonish). Who knows, they may even do different sizes, too. Besides, have you seen the gallery pictures? The Alpha has gotten a lot of customs done with it. But others will be coming soon, based primarily on how well Alpha does in sales.

Looks good to me,probably be easier to mod then a reg action figure,might be something I could use in my projects.
