Rakuten has them up still. Same model I used. The grips are different, but you're gonna take those off anyway. :thumbsup

Unfortunately, no. Japanese law makes it so metal receivers are for the most part illegal. Somehow this same company managed to skirt that when they released a Thompson M1A1 a few years back, but that might be due to the historical significance of that one?

IIRC the Japanese Swords And Firearms act only prohibits the manufacture of metal pressure bearing parts on pistols. This is why you'll see full metal airsoft rifles but for pistols and revolvers they're still part plastic.

I think that's just the shape of the pale grips vs the dark checkered ones. I'm pretty sure the grip frame itself is the same.
