Blade runner other characters ID numbers

For the bits on the bottom the left one looks like security or tracking stickers.
The right is more like a QR code.(there are many types more just the standard square ones).

so QR code would go more in the direction of something that would change for each character. I don't know what most people would prefer, I think it would be a cool nod and a bit less "lazy" if all those round thingy were different for each character. :)

Well yeah.
Or as suggested make it a SIM Chip.
IIRC I just kept them as a SIM Chip on the ones I did years ago.

For the Gaff photo I used a pic of EJO from one of his earlier films, may have even been Miami Vice.
Something like this.

When he was a young detective before he became cocky.

for Gaff and Deckard I'm all set for the photos. My troubles are with Holden and Bryant. Holden, I have nothing! and Bryant I made a very nice photo but as in the movie, I would love a youger pic for him too but no luck so far.
cheers :)

yes I found this one too, a bit too young yes, but thanks for your help and for looking :)

eethan - great work! I am really enjoying your thought process and seeing your progress. I like your Gaff photo without the hat - well done!

thank you so much :)

Here are a a smaler resolution part of Deckard and Gaff computer files for the photos, to show a bit more and hopefully push more people to react and give their opinion :)

also, all those pictures and files I'm showing are completelly my own work, I'm sorry for being so annoying with croping and putting watermarks on them, there is a lot of work involved and I would like to avoid being stolen.

Both those digital paintings I posted just before are based on those next pictures, I'm trying to get something very unique for each character:

QR codes and SIM chips also change over time. So if you are looking to provide more variety, Blade Runners of roughly the same age would have similar designs but could change from grouping to grouping. Newer often means smaller but can also mean more complex is if new features have been incorporated.

Unless it's a newly issued ID Deckard's would be from when he was younger.
Remember at the time of the movie he was retired.

Also their cloths would be different from what is seen at the time of the movie.

that's all the complexity of the thing. I want a nice narative, badges were given when they became detectives maybe, but most people will also want to recognize the characters and have a nod to the movie.
I absolutely don't want a photo right from the film in a weird pose and so on, in the case of deckard, I took the best "ID photo" like picture I could find and removed the jacket to avoid that "from the movie look" and get more of a sense of a real ID picture but still with a nod to the movie as I used the patern from his actual shirt. I have to agree with you though that it would have been nice to have him a bit younger. I'll see if I can manage to find something better. I like to have a solution ready and see if I can find something better eventually. It's the case with Bryant as well, I have a picture during the movie time and would really like to find a nice younger picture, but worst case scenario, I have that nice picture of him already.
sorry for the long message ;) and keep the opinions and advices coming (y)

In any case, 1h34 minutes later, I have to thank you for motivating me ;) I'll justify myself from time to time but still love to hear any advice and critics!
so, I'm very happy that you pushed me and very happy of my new very similar but 10 years younger Deckard:

Nice job with the younger Deckard! One suggestion, you may want to change the shirt to something a little different in comparison to the movie, a Deckard from 10 years ago wearing future Deckard's shirt might be odd, but then again it might be something he kept for all this time. It would fit with his character. I remember someone posting on here a Deckard badge with a police uniform for his clothing. That could be interesting, though I feel like his ID would have been updated when he became a blade runner.

Yes I agree with all that you said, and to me the ID would probably be given when they became blade runner. Hence the B number, or we wuld need to find another theory to justify that B. For this reason i would prefer to avoid any beat cop uniform.
Now, regarding the shirt, this is done on purpose for the nod to the current character, like I explained on a previous post. I might be wrong though.

Hey there,
so, I think I'm ready to print. I'm still waiting for most of the materials though, the virus situation is really hard on the postal system it seems.
here is a pic to show quickly the photos, IDs, different circle code bars, and signatures for the characters, sorry again for the low quality and all the watermarks.
so, to summerize, id numbers are based on actors birthdays. Bryant, Holden and Gaff signature are all created using the actors autographs and Deckard's is writen by me, inspired by the way Harrison Fords signs as I couldn't create a signature directly from his autograph.

I hope you guys like it, don't hesitate to comment :)
