Black Series Darth Vader Helmet Mod Thread!

I got the new bs helmet so I immediately transformed my old helmet Into obi wan damaged. Black hot glue is a great way to control the melt look esp if u use kylo ren loghtsaber heat paint tricks on it. Repainted the 1 lense i kept. I also hacked off the left nub so the helmet makes strained breathing even assembled.

It's for holding a silicone mask normally. I use them for helmet work too but generally not display.

Yes but the reflection is a silicone palpatine

Glad I’m not the only one haha!

With that being said, the new lenses are here and look AMAZING. They will need to be cut down to fit but I recommend them. They don’t match the exact contour of the originals which leaves a small gap between the lens and the top of the eye hole, but you can’t see it unless you flip the helmet and are looking for it.

Hello there to all. So recently after almost a year of delays due to some personal matters and other priorities. I was finally able to get back my old BS 2018 Darth Vader helmet from a guy I have send it to for a new 3D printed dome. He happened to make his own takes with 3D prints of precision replicas of each movie from the original trilogy. So he made me a 3D printed ANH based dome for my helmet and I only managed to give it a repaint job last summer.

Now I am with limited time to spend on this mod, given I already have attempted my first mod with a Rubies Vader into R1/ANH style 2-3 years ago and many other things going on in life, so the BS Vader mod will be a very slow progress.
The dome is yet to be worked on, polished and primed before starting painting it. I would like to start with extending the neck and making the neck vent/triangle smaller. It will resemble more of a mixture between Kenobi, Rogue One and ANH as its not perfect and am yet planing another fully customized mod on the black series since now we have the 2022 BS version which ended up with the same shape/size problems. But that will be another story for a new topic someday.

I'd like to know what are the actual measurements in centimetres for the extended neck piece? Planning to run another 3D print for it or are is your approach guys different?
