Ok guys, I've been lurking around for about a year now, and I'm finally crawling out from under my rock because... well, I need help!
Usually I comb the forums and research the heck outta my projects until I find my answer or come up with something on my own, but this time I am stumped!

I'm making a Revy costume for a convention and I'm stuck on her guns. I was prepared to make them out of wood or try casting them out of resin, but while I was researching specs, I came across these:

Buy KSC Sword Cutlass (Limited Edition)-KSC & other Airsoft gun accessories at redwolfairsoft.com

and even better priced:

They are beautiful! There's no way I could be satisfied with plastic or wood now!

So what's the problem, you ask?
I live in Canada.
And while Canada is super chill about well... everything really... for some reason, if you try to import airsoft guns, you will never see them. I can buy them easily enough here (mind you at like triple the price), but it's impossible to order from outside the country and not get them turned away at the border apparently. Most sites even say they can't ship here.

So now, I don't know what to do. I can't UNSEE them hahaha... so I'm obsessing over a way to make them and somehow have them turn out THAT good. And so I turn to you, honorable masters!

I don't need them to function, although I was sort of pining after the ability to cock it for dramatic effect and general badassery... but the look and the weight of metal is really what I'm after. How do you guys do it?

What you could do is ask your local shop to see if they might be able to import them for you. Then you won't have to deal with the customs and the stores should be able to get them inside the country with ease.

The WE/CQB gun dosen't look as good up close, there's some nasty flash on the metal and the grips are more of a sickly yellow than Ivory, but the Calico inlays arn't too bad. The barrel also dosen't look anywhere near as good on the CQB and it does on the KSC. CQB is an aluminium construction as far as I know. Here's a good comparison of both.

That dosen't really help you though, just posting the comparison for posterity's sake. Your best bet would be trying to get a cheap M9 airsoft locally and modding it. CQB sells a set of the Cutlass grips seperatly for 20$ which you shouldn't have trouble importing.
