Big diamonds at Hobby Lobby!

I was in Hobby Lobby the other day and while standing in line at the checkout I looked down and saw some of those huge glass diamonds. They must have been about 5 inches across the top, they also had smaller ones that were around an inch wide, they also had rose colored versions in small. The big ones were $10.00.

Just in case anyone needs one for an Indiana Jones display or treasure chest.

I'm pretty sure I've seen them at Michael's too. Not sure of the price though.

I saw some at Michael's that were about maybe 3 inches across on the top. I think they were 3.99 or 4.99. Had them in green which I thought would be pretty cool for a custom kryptonite type prop.

Only problem was that I guess when they were shipped they were all jumbled together. Most of them were scratched up pretty good and a lot of them had chips or the diamond bottom "point" broken off.

for those of you that dont have a hobby lobby near by, check out ebay - they go for cheap there.

I found some at the dollar store about a month or so ago - smaller, maybe like 2 inch ones... I cleaned them out - I just cant resist stuff like that for some reason. As a kid I loved finding expensive looking stuff to fill my treasure chest with...
