Ill be quick with this one.
This is as close as screen accurate as I can make it with the materials and time I had... I will provide A reference of the accurate design I made, but I am posting the one i had time to build. Build was for: IG: @blacklotusclothing

I took screenshots from my phone. Reversed engineered the design. I used an Edison bulb for scale and went from there.

Lights are animated to match the movie. I have video but have to figure out how to share it here.

Limited with time, i had to figure out how to wire the lights and have them flash to match the movie. I did not use arduino or rasberry, Didn;t have the time or budget...

This is fantastic! I'm planning a Beetlejuice yard display for halloween this year and your posts have given me some amazing ideas. Top Notch Work!

I would love that. Your builds have been crazy inspiring
I was unable to find the updated drawing with the dimensions... but the pdf's I do have are from the first iteration... before the accurate drawings.. the dimensions are all the same with only some minor details varying. The outer frame front eh main sign was removed and the inner frame is slightly thicker. the arrow outer frame was modified to allow the arrow to fit flush with the rectangular base. (the arrow frame would have prevented that. The dimensions are imperial measurements, inches (not metric) and the overall critical dimensions are there, including the angle of the arrow (but that can be eyed to look the way you wish.

As I mentioned earlier, I didn't have time to use an arduino or rasberry to animate the lights. for the main betelgeuse sign, i used battery powered led strips and back lit it like a light table. easy, for the lights surrounding the frame, I used fairy lights. and for the arrow lights, i use a second strip of battery powered LED lights and wired them accordingly to a meteor light (Christmas icicle lights) because they already have a chip that creates a chasing light animation.

Yes! This is so rad, congrats on the build and thank you for sharing. I've been looking at doing a miniature of this, or the Dante's Inferno room for a while and this is some great motivation to get going on it. Well Done!

Im trying to convert my files into stl's, been busy at the moment.. but I plan to make 3D printable version of this and posting it over at thingiverse.

drasticshift Once again, I can't thank you enough for sharing your methods, dimensions and reference. Your thread here has made my sign build short enough to basically be a 1 day build. You're a champ and every thread you've posted on here has been a fantastic read

This is very cool! What font did you use for the Betelgeuse sign?
