Hi there, I bought these welding gloves for an outfit but they have the Waton logo inked on. What's the best way to remove it without wrecking the skin of the glove? Fine sandpaper?

Totally depends on what your going to use them for after. Do they need to be clean looking or weathered. You could try turpentine or metholated spirits but they might just spread the colour around instead of taking ti foof cleanly. It looks like soft leather so yeah, maybe a light sand will do it. ...i'd grab them and jam them on the belt sander :)

Get a test pair and try dabbing the spot with acetone. I don't think it will hurt the leather, and it should take the ink off. But use a test pair at first. And do NOT RUB. Soak the spot with the acetone then continue to dab the spot with clean rags to soak up the ink.

What I did once was to get more than one pair and replace the part with the logo with a part from another cuff that did not have any logo on it.

If the cuff is suede with the same texture on the inside then maybe you could rip the seams and restitch it the other way around, with the logo on the inside. If the leather is tough and you don't have access to a sewing machine for leather then just thread the thread by hand through the existing holes.

Thanks for the suggestions folks. I'll maybe try a light sanding. They can look "weathered" just not ruined. :)

By the way, the sandpaper did the trick, thanks again everyone!
