Best way to fix hairline cracks in ABS?

Applied to the inside of the piece?

How about the old standard, superglue? Any good for this type of repair?

Possibly, although resin can be applied to the crack then the excess scraped/picked away.

Superglue would probably work but would more than likely discolour or burn the ABS I would think.

I'm no expert though! Do you have any pics of the cracks? :)

You haven't described what you want to repair. If you can hide the repair by working on the inside, perhaps just some ABS glue would be ideal; it is essentially a solvent so it should be able to work into the cracks and help blend the ABS back together.

Does ABS glue work similarly to Tenax 7R or Plastruct cement? Both products are advertised as a "plastic weld" which actually melts plastic together. I've never tried it on ABS but it would seem like the right thing to use to fix cracks.

ABS shouldn't get hairline cracks. Are you sure it's ABS? Is it painted? The only sure way to stop cracks from reappearing or growing is to grind/cut them out and/or drill tiny holes at the end of each crack and fill.
