Best costumes for bald guys.

Lobot gets my vote. :)

Great thread. I needed some new ideas for this year.

Here is another one for the list...

Bullseye.

I'm trying to come up with costume ideas that incorporate a bald head.

So far, I can think of the following:

King Mongkut of Siam (The king and I)
Freddy Krueger (Nightmare on Elm Street)
Chris Adams (Magnificient Seven)
Dr. Evil (Austin Powers)

who else?

ADDED:
Darth Maul
Riddick
Lex Luthor
Mr. Freeze
Captain Picard
Lobot
Dr. Kobras
Voldemort

Volde, Riddick and Maul!!! Saw a guy as Riddick last year at Dragon Con and really pulled it off! Very big guy so he easily pulled off the intimidation part along with a lady on his arms in tight spandex/leather.

Kinda funny when two yearlings are frowning at the newbies and their necroposting... 'tis a fun thread guys, why not?

I just mentioned I noticed it in other threads a lot as well, where it's a WIP and they're asking questions about the project to the OP and the member hasn't even logged in months in some cases.

for example: This OP last logged in Dec of 2010.

sorry "2005"

yeah, it's a fun thread but I'm sure both of us had better common sense when it came to necro posting when we joined.

Hey... don't be all "the Internet is serious business" :) I thought it was funny that two 2010's disliked a 2011's post in an old thread, nothing more. And for the record, I don't see myself as teh RPF veteran either, mind you...

New guys tend to be eager, and there's been a lot of examples of that over here lately. Necroposting, guys with less than a couple of months under their belts explaining in a sombre tone about the board's feelings on recasting and whatnot. It happens, and it's generally a positive thing - young minds, fresh ideas, as it were. Though sometimes the wheel gets reinvented, naturally.

One has also to keep in mind that a lot of the "newbs" might be long-time lurkers and/or veterans from other boards. I used to lurk here back when this place seemed to me like an everlasting flame-fest, and avoided registering here for a long time because of that. I was used to an entirely different forums climate, with a more mellow groove, but I digress.

As for necroposting in project and offered run threads, you're absolutely right about the importance of checking post dates. As for the lighter threads, I really don't see the issue if there's some kind of contribution involved, other than a mere "lol" or smiley. Those are just plain annoying, no matter how new/old a thread.

I'm pretty sure I've been all too eager when browsing internet forums, and most likely revived something best left on page 56 or similar. And when that happens, IMO there's really nothing wrong with a light-hearted bashing of the culprit. And I saw humor in your antics and light-heartedly bashed you back. Didn't intend to hurt any feelings here...

Friends?:confused
