Best book for prop reference?

For the OT, options are somewhat limited, and as far as actual prop reference goes, that's hit or miss.

There's Star Wars Chronicles (limited B&W prop reference), From Star Wars to Indiana Jones: The Best of the Lucasfilm Archives, and the Star Wars Visual Dictionary. That last book has modern replicas as substitutes for the some of the props (lightsabers in particular).

For the Prequels, the material available was better, since it was released at the same time as the films.

There's Star Wars Chronicles: The Prequels and a Visual Dictionary book for each Prequel film. I believe later on they compiled all of the Visual Dictionary books into The Complete Star Wars Visual Dictionary.

Does anyone know if The Complete Star Wars Visual Dictionary is a really just a compiled version of all the visual dictionaries or did they abbreviate something? Just wondering if I should get the complete version or the individual books instead.

If you have good money available, the Star Wars Archives by Taschen are beatifull, and enormous. One for the OT, one for the prequels.
edit: And I remembered you are in Europe. For Taschen books, you can buy them directly on their website, AND, wait for them to discount them, each year, they make a 50% sale and the Star Wars books have been part of it since I checked. I say good money, but they are 75€ when discounted, and I know some of the older books can reach 1000€ on ebay, so I guess they are pretty cheap all things considered

Is it this one? Cause that's only like 25 euros in Sweden. 512 pages from 2020?

I love those tomb like books...
So weighty and full of Ancient wonders to. Poor over it makes you feel like Indiana just opening them..

I'm only interested in Original Trilogy, so here are some of the books that discuss or show props, cover plus some pics of the inside. There are other books like Workshop Manuals, the two ILM books about special effects, Storyboards, Unauthorized Timelines ESB & ROTJ, Ultimate Guides for the Trilogy, the ones about Sterling SMGs etc. not posted here.
