it's cool, but i'm somewhat hesitant. this has been on and off ebay from the same seller for a LOOONNNNGGGG time. pre-production and most of the design work on GB didn't start until after the film had been greenlit... well into 1983. (summer?) wrightson was definitely one of the earlier artists to work on the film, though. i have a fairly early wrightson GB piece... i'll try to remember to dig it out and get the date. it's for sure not 82. i'm not saying the librarian piece is a fakey fake mcfake-a-roo or that design work on the film wasn't happening in 82, but the early date IS interesting. if you look at the closeup of the sig on the librarian piece, the date looks like it MIGHT have possibly been altered.
as far as EARLY concept pieces for GB goes... after aykroyd finished his original spec script, he commissioned a few concept designs from john daviekis. i have no clue what year that took place, though. i'm a bit rusty on my GB lore these days.
EDIT---
also, i'm not so sure that's alice. alice was the... ummm... living librarian in the film. early in development, alice was written to be much younger than she appeared in the film. my guess is that it's the ghost librarian, pre-transformation.
