The man's musical scores in numerous film (and radio) is phenomenal. His style certainly stands out from among other musicians.

I had seached for music to use at a convention earlier this year, and ran into a piece I had heard on "Kill Bill", but really wasn't aware it was his music since he had passed away before this movie. It came from a British thrilller film, starring Hayley Mills, "Twisted Nerve".

It's always kinda fun to find his work in other things he is famous for, such as-

Seventh Voyage of Sinbad
Jason and the Argonauts
The Day the Earth Stood Still
The Man Who Knew too Much
Vertigo

-and so much more, including chilling music for early radio's "Suspense".

I know I haven't mentioned other scores he had done, so please chime in and add to the list.

I know he did Kane and some other Welles stuff as well as Vertigo and North by Northwest for Hitchcock, but didn't Herrmann also write The Twilight Zone intro?
