Battlestar Galactica Miniatures? (who makes em?)

What companies make Battlestar Galactica Miniatures? I keep seeing them around, but dont see the companies that are making them, or where online we can buy them?

Also, I read online that there are a few companies that make Battlestar miniatures, but dont call them Battlestar Galactica for obvious reasons. That info would help me see which ones are best for the money.

I'd like to find official and unofficial Battlestar Miniatures. Both are fine.

I used to make the mini metals way back in the 80's also did them in resin .galactica,viper,cylon raider,and the tanker I may still have the molds they were sold through comet of London owner was tony james these are now a collectable item

I am not sure if they are still availible and I have never really seen them advertised as a package, but I bought some Vipers and Cylon Raiders from Jim over at Custom replicas that I can really recommend. They should be in scale with the studio scale Galactica (1/4 in or so) if I am not mistaken.

Just how miniature are you talking about? When you mention knockoffs that are called not by their real names for fear of copyright infringement I imediatly thought of this site:

Specifically:

These are extra tiny ships for purposes of tactical space combat games, often played on table tops or on 1" hex grids. So they are truly miniature miniatures.

I can't speak to the quality, as I've never ordered from him. And, frankly, I'm not real impressed by the pictures. But, in case this helps you out, I figured I'd post it.
