I hung a few more lights from the ceiling and got them all neatly routed over to where they can go up one of the pod supports.

That looks great. Honestly you don't need that much lighting, I totally understand the need to show off the detail. I'm just worried what it'll do to the scale.

But dude, you're pushing this one hard... I was thinking it'd bee cool to see a cutaway of the flight pod, considering all the work you've put into it.

While that sounds good, I think I’d have to get the details in there way more accurate and busier

Yeah... I'm just rambling, ignore most of it, and smile at the rest.

I'm just happy to be able to see you push on. I'm here, spending every free hour on some stupid diploma module, all the while I can see all the parts for my Falcon you send me sitting my workbench right next to me... It's killing me.

A little bit more on the starboard flight pod, did the roof panels the lower side panels and a few of the upper side panels. I left a few open so I can place some more ships in there. I’ll button up the bottom soon build the ends and then as soon as I get the other ships in there I’ll finish the side plates and start ribbing, then the Galactica script and fiber optic. Getting closer

Most of you guys probably already know this, but in doing these side plates where there’s gonna be gaps in between and you don’t really get them cut so they fit like the blocks on the great pyramid, LOL I figured out that if you take some of that thin quick setting liquid glue between the panels and then sand in a circular motion that will fill in the gap pretty much rather than spuging putty everywhere

That looks so good. I love the detail you have on the sidewalls.

Fantastic job man.

A little bit more on this flight pod, it’s coming along pretty quickly but once the ribbing starts it’s going to get tedious

I’ve been spending a lot of time in the garage on the car but I get little bits done before I go to work but the evenings seem to be a bit short. Got a crap load of ribs done today

Looks great.

If you ever wanted to replace them they wouldn't be that hard to install in a way so you'd have that option.

I've always figured - if I ever get to that point - that I'd use some kinda marker on thin translucent pvc or some sort, the stuff that toys are often packaged in.
