Batpod 'non-functioning' replica

I am 'considering' building a 1:1 replica of the Batpod. Non-functioning, only for display purposes at events. I've scoured the net and RPF for anyone else going down this road, to no avail.

So my question is, does anyone know of anyone on here that has attempted this yet? As I mentioned, non-functioning.

Looks like it may be a 1:6 model and using a micrometer to draw up some plans.

I would start with a Hot Toys batpod. Toys and models somehow have a reputation for not being dimensionally accurate. Hot Toys stuff is scary accurate.

Look through the build logs at 1989 Batmobile Replica | For All Your Batmobile Needs, there's a lot of fantastic information there and at least two functioning batpods built. The only difference is yours will be less expensive and you won't have to hide the drive chains, but the structure and bits and pieces are all the same.

Lear60man: Yes, I've read that Hot Toys has a great model Batpod, and will probably be the direction I go for measurements and scale.

im in the middle of the same build myself.
i dont have any proper plans just got the 1.25 moebius kit for the basic size of some of the frame.
besides that get all the pics you can find and get stuck into it
