Hi G,
perhaps there's something useful for you here:
Search - The #1 source for video game models on the internet!
www.models-resource.com
You can use 3D software like Windows10 3D builder to dissect the model into armor parts, and scale and unfold them in Pepakura Designer 4.
Materials and tools:
-6mm EVA foam for regular armor, 2mm for details and small stuff like fingers.
-Box cutter / exacto knife with (self-healing) cutting mat for cutting templates
-heat gun to briefly heat-treat your foam surface with before gluing (closes the cells)
-hot glue gun / contact cement for connecting templates
-Impasto (Acrylic) Gel 1 to plastic / rubber coat your foam with; straight from the package for plastic coating, mix with PVA / white wood glue to keep rubber-like foam quality
-acrylic paint with foundation brush for painting without brush traces
The las two steps enable you to work without chemicals in any environment (credit goes to Cyehra).
I hope this helps you on your way
