Hello everybody! Happy October to all RPF members, users, and whatnot. Anyways I would like to share my progress on a Batman costume I have been working on. So far I am about 75% done, I still need gloves, boots, a chest logo, and to finish my mask. Anyways, this is my own take on Batman, a retro/modern design, my plan is to mix the first appearance Batman suit with some modern military clothing/style.

Also please excuse the weird expression on my face, I don't know what I was doing.. Lol.

Hope you guys like it so far, I'd also like to see what everyone else is working on for Halloween or a Con, if anything. Thanks!

*P.s; sorry for the images being upside down I don't know what happened :^/

So far, so good!

Did you make the cape? I'm trying a blue-lined one myself and maybe I can bug you for some tips...

Actually, no I didn't make the cape. Funny enough I had it lying around from an old Rubies Batman costume I had bought years ago, I was going to make the cape with the blue lining until I found this one.

Hey guys! A little progress update on my Batman costume I've been working on for some time. First off, I finished my cowl/mask! I am really happy with how it turned out and the best part is I can turn my head! Lol. I'm also nearing completion with my utility belt, that actually has functional pouches. The buckle is a homage to the first appearance bat-suit, and that round, cartoon-ish looking buckle Batman had on his belt. Hope you guys like it so far, I should have it done the day before Halloween. :)

I actually made the batarang out of some scrap plastic I had lying around. Then I cut out a shape I was happy with and painted it.

The cowl is from an old store bought costume from a while back, that I dug out from my closet. I cut the weird looking face piece it came with and replaced it with a plastic face shell/piece that I cut from a plastic store bought batman mask. Then I used superglue to attach it to the hood piece.
