Batman Beyond-based on art by Mark Vick

Wow, this is intense! I've been a huge fan of this particular piece of art forever, so it's really interesting to see somebody tackling it for real.

I think you said the suit is going to be silicone, and only 2 pieces? That sounds like some huge molds, and serious dedication in terms of wearing it! Why not split it up into smaller sections and add it to an undersuit or something similar? With all the circuit and section lines, it seems like it wouldn't be insurmountable.

A huge thank you to godproject for rendering this batarang that shares the same design as the rest of the costume. This was 3d printed through my business Home

I have decided to split the mold into 4 parts. 2 for the upper and 2 for the lower. It will make things a bit easier when it comes to making it.

Glad to see that worked out for you. You want me to edit the model to fuse the parts together? It will be permanently open, but it wouldn't be so flimsy. I can easily set it up for a closed piece as well.

That would be ideal. Thank you!

Why not make a mold of your hand then sculpt the details in clay and then paint latex over it and paint it?

Because sometimes, it's cheaper, faster or easier to mod something than make it from scratch. Besides, I'm gonna be sweating from head to toe... latex gloves sound even more sweaty ;-)

While I do agree that it might look better, but it will still cost less with minor mods ps I think a is best

According to the original artist of this Batman Beyond, he picks A. Good team effort [emoji1]
