Does anyone here have any experience with the many bat'leths out on the market today? Hows the quality? How accuurate are they to the screen used ones?

depends. i got my friend one a few years ago at the star trek con here in tulsa. and the one i got looks exactly like the ones used on film. its made from 440 stainless and leather wrapped hand grabs. got it for a steal at 65 bucks.

Yea I am noticing that rad. There used to be some pretty good carbon steel ones out there but can't remember the company, I'm sure its long gone by now. I am also interested in the knife with the blades that pop out from the sides. Can't seem to find them either.... hmmm

I had bought one off Ebay a few years back that sounds just like that one.
I actually have two, one is leather wrapped, one is cord wrapped.
I know that company is now gone though.....

If you are not in a hurry keep checking with Roddenberry.com.

They used to sell them and they were made by one of the people who did a ton of them for the shows.

Hitogiri, Rod.com has begun offering some of the Bat'leths again.
