I didn't finish my armor Kris at HK did. I can tell you this though, don't plastidip urethane. My armor is colored through out, as in, it was mixed this color. Hope that helps.

That could be it. When my suit was created we used a double velcro closure to connect them. This makes it much easier to remove the shoulders if needed, and is just way more efficient. The pictures of the cords make it look like that is not just for the shoulder bells though.
