Hi i came over here from the predator site because no one decided i was worth helping so please let there be one good sole here. i found this video and want to recreate this but i need someone to walk me through and specify what i need to buy there is a copy of the coding for the board so thats half the work done for

This thread on the Aliens Legacy any use, dude?
kinda it just raises more questions then answers the one in my link is much more simple looking

I am not sure what detailed information you need, but if you go to timestamp 1:01 on the video I can try to describe how the parts listed at the end of the video are assembled.

At the bottom left you can see the project box. The Arduino is inside, the RJ45 panel mounts, red pushbutton (not in the list) are on the top. The RJ45 cables run to the MPU6050 module as an input device to detect the requested movement and the two servos to affect the cannon positioning.

To the right of the project box is two pieces of 1x1 80/20 aluminum extrusion and a 90 degree bracket which forms the “L” shaped cannon support. On the top of the “L” there is a “U” shaped bracket. (The top of the “U” legs are rounded to allow the cannon to tilt around the outside edge of the "U".) Inside the “U” the first servo provides the up-and-down lift capability. As the servo shaft rotates it moves the entire assembly up and down. Attached to this servo is the body of the second servo. This servo provides the pan (left-and-right) operation. The second servo shaft is bolted to the bottom of the 1x2 unit 80/20 aluminum extrusion (the cannon) so that when the servo rotates, it pans the “cannon” left and right. (The two servos make up a pan-tilt sub-assembly. Which you can research)

The Momentary (push button) switch is used to control the LED in the cannon. The switch is attached to the project box via the audio jack.

I use the SSC-32 Servo Controller for one of my Halloween prop controllers, it controls my 3 Axis skulls

It might allow real time input.
I would suggest going there and looking it over and asking on their forum or ask customer support (as they will want to make a sale!).
Good luck.
