Unlimited Run Barbolight Apollo penlights

So got my barbolight today. Looks really nice but one wierd thing. The on/off engravings are opposite of how it actually goes on/off - anybody else notice this?

Interesting. On mine if you turn it fully ON to it's stop, and slowly back off, it goes OFF for a few degrees, then if you keep going it goes back ON then finally OFF and you can hear the batteries rattling loose inside. Then the markings would be correct for that few degrees. But I don't know if that's just mine.

Yeah That's wierd - Mine doesn't do that - I actually cranked on mine so hard I compressed the nub on the AA's down into the body. Tried fresh batteries & Mine doesn't act like yours. Hey Picard1138 - Which way are these supposed to work?

They screw down to turn on, and then take about a full turn to fully turn off. It's just a simple circuit, not even a switch, which is why the batteries rattle when it's off. I made some suggestions for a retrofit that will prevent the rattle, which I believe they are working on now.

Thanks! Good to know mine functions as designed.

I think mine is just goofy, just the way the contacts are working perhaps battery brand is an issue.
