If I was going to mod it as far as to not have the magazine be "releasable", I'd just buy an extended mag and not worry about modding the magazine itself. I don't plan to use it as an airsoft either, but I like knowing I can release the magazine,etc. I like the working element as props go.

EDIT - But the standard magazine is canon, the Joker doesn't have a 33rd mag in his Glock when he's burns the money.

On another note - if anybody was waiting for my mask... dont I dont want to go into right now, but the molding process went horribly worng, and I ended up with one, very damaged casting. I'll explain more later...

No they don't....But they do make extended Glock magazines for airsofts. *goes to fetch saw*

actually after closer inspection I'm fairly sure if I had another clip that matched the one it came with, I could easily combine them into something that could be taken in and out... is there a way to get another one that is exactly the same?

Buying another Glock. Most cheap springers don't have extra magazines that can be purchased seperatly.

Yeah, I'd like to keep the release operational, but just can't find anything like an extended mag for this thing. I may just try fabricating a faux extended clip out of wood that will just fit tight enough to not slip. That way I can keep the standard mag and the gun "functional".

I noticed last night, if you remove the orange tip from the Glock, you no longer have anything to attach the silencer to. It screws onto the orange piece, so when the silencer is attached, you barely see a sliver of orange between gun and silencer. Of course, the bif ol' orabge ring on the silencer needs to be blacked out.

to remove the orange tip on mine, I screwed the silencer on real tight, then just pulled out the plug with it. Now, to put the silencer on, I simply slide the orange tip back into the barrel. it still fits tight enough to stay in on its own.

Ahhhh... Genius! Did you paint the silencer? If so, what paint did you use?

I just wonder how hard it would be to create a smooth cylinder silencer from this one. Or mabey even use the threaded part by forcing it inside a peice of PVC,etc. (I smell a weekend project that allows me to conceal and carry inside Lowes!) :lol

This is why I'm considering grabbing a small peice of PVC to *butcher* the original silencer into. Then have smaller peice of PVC inside to make-up in the inner barrel. That way it would still screw into the weapon. I'll need to see it first though. The PVC will have to be light enough to not break the threaded part off inside the gun/damage the gun. I may just make one and lay it next to it for my eventual TDK display. (Next to me eventual manequin. :rolleyes )

I'm pretty sure amazon. When I posted your picture and the link he said that was the one he bought. But he may be refering to the amazon picture only. Before he posted his pictures I thought he meant he got the one you receive. I'd ask him, but he posted a crazy post last night out of the blue stating he was leaving and was going to steal a movie poster. :confused :wacko
