bane costume help

ok guys, I've decided i want to do a bane costume for nycc this year. this is mainly because i want to start gaining weight and the costume definitely is some good motivation. i currently am 5'9-5'10 and weigh 130 lbs. i know very skinny. i plan on at least gaining 30 lbs. don't say its impossible because its not. but anyways my budget is kinda small so i'm thinking about doing the black jacket bane,without the military vest.i want to know where i can get a bane mask for cheap but still good quality? i love gcfx work, but i cant blow 300 on a mask. any ideas or tips you guys have would be great
 
GCFX is the highest quality you can get for that price, there are alot of recasted ones out there suffice to say that unless the auction specifically does not say its a GCFX and looks just like a gcfx, its proabably a recast.

Aside from making your own, there arent any cheaper ones out there apart from the halloween version.

You might get lucky and find one cheaper tho.

You want to gain 30 pounds to look passable as Bane in 2 months? Yeah, I will say it is impossible...unless you want most of it to be fat. That said, good luck on finding a good mask for an inexpensive price. If you do so, please share with us here. I'm likely just going to sculpt my own. You will have to learn in this prop hobby that you can either have something good, or you can have something cheap, but you can't have it both ways.
 
tom hardy gained 30 pounds for warrior and another 20 for bane all within less than a year and a buddy of mine gained 90 in 6 months its not impossible it jst takes dedication

Less than a year is NOT two months. You have til October 11th to do it. I wish you all the best. Post some progress pics in the RPF Fit Club thread.

He also used illegal drugs to get that size, one of the worst side effects of Steroids is Bacne like this picture I have posted. I wish you luck on bulking up for your costume and if you have any questions you should check out my build thread for the Bane Costume.

I was not going to go there with the "Juice is Loose" because Codyy strikes me as a youngster. I've rained enough, methinks. (Nice cover though, gents.)
 
I'm 19 but i kinda figured he used some kinda juice but he didn't use any for warrior which he made some nice gains. I'm just trying to bulk so lots of ice cream and stuff lol. but maul i love your work. you did an amazing job. i'm definitely going to use your thread for some pointers lol.

Thanks Codyy, just be careful and if your going to try to bulk up make sure you use the correct supplements to do so. Protein is your friend
 
To get the gains you want in the amount of time you want you need to be a 5-6 day a week gym routine. I am on a 3-4 day routine depending on my schedule.
 
yeah i wanna do 5 days of heavy weight lifting . i want to focus mainly on my shoulders and chest so do you think itd be good to do those three times a week.? i know i shouldnt overwork them.
 
Thats pretty much my routine, I work upper body 3 days a week and lower body 1 a week. High weight-low reps Shoulder, chest and arms are going to get you the look of Bane
 
ok thanks, i also got my hands on bronsons prison workout book. tom hardy used it for bronson and he was pretty big in that aswell. going to do some of those workouts mixed with some crossfit training at night.
