Back to the Future

Marty is a bit short, but that sign is at least 9 ft tall. He's clearly looking up at a steep angle. 9 ft is 274cm and with 1/6 scale would be roughly 46 centimeters for your scale sign.
Yes as Roland has pointed out to me my measurement were miles off, and 46cm is a little big for my display case with it 36cm and overall too big just as a display piece in general really, may need to scale it back a little wont be to scale with my hot toys but still a nice add on for it.

Here's a basic sign. Free for personal use. Scale before you print.
WOW!! Thank you so much that's amazing didn't expect you to do so much work, how and what did you use to make it just outta interest, was gonna try to make it myself if all else failed but have no idea how to use a CAD program or even where to start.

Is there anyway i can repay your time and effort? Really do appreciate what you've done.

This is such a basic build that it takes no time at all. Okay, a bit of time, but under an hour, at any rate.

For basic shapes like this, I just use the online program called TinkerCad.

Well thank you again for taking an hour out of your day to help me out very kind of you, I'm not too bad on a computer but no where near where you guys on here are but would like to learn, so just signed up on tinkercad so will give that program a go see how i get on making all the little signs that go around the main one, might take me a week though compared to you.

Hey guys just wanted to say some amazing work in here well done and some amazing points of details people have noticed. The reason I'm here is also to see if anyone has the 'Welcome To Hill Valley' sign decals I'm looking at making a 1/6th scale model with my 3d printer for my hot toys Delorean.

Any help on this would be much appreciated

Here is a set of the logos and a image of how the main panel should look that was shared on the RPF long ago (2011). I don't remember whose work it is and I hope they wont mind me sharing it.

Hope you find it useful.

That's fantastic thank you so much have searched high and low for these for weeks and have come up short each time and these are amazing quality, how did you find them or did you remember where they were originally posted? Have searched this website the past few days and not found them.

Thanks again, so glad I signed up to this website

Glad I could help.

I have a bunch of files that was shared over the years saved on hard drives. A lot of files and images have been lost from the RPF due to various things like when photobucket stopped allowing hotlinks. So many awesome images were lost.

Hi all! I came across a different version of Marty’s family photo unfortunately the quality isn’t great but I still think it’s very cool! I’ve put it next to Roland awesome made version of the movie used photo so you can see the difference! Also included the different version for everyone to see/use/have etc! If anyone has anymore information about this different version photo it would be great to hear...... thanks View attachment 1039514View attachment 1039515
These are beautiful photos! By any chance do you also have the photos in various stages of dissapearance?

I hate to ask for something again; but does anyone have Doc Briwn's gravestone photos from part 3? Or is this thread only for part 1? Sorry if that is the case.

Since there's not much to do these days, I've been going through the paper props threads and filling in holes in my collection. Since I had to order a bunch of executive size paper to make my Ravenwood diary, I was also finally able to do this one thanks to DB537. Now I need to order some photo paper to make Roland's disappearing family photos. Thanks to all of you for your awesome work.

(it looks much lighter in the photo than it is in real life)

This was my first version with 8 photos, before I found out, there are 9 photos in the movie. So better use this one: ;)

Thank you, Roland, for making these and for providing the links! I printed my copies a long time ago and probably did not yet thank you - so: Thank you - for these and everything else!! (and if I did already thank you before, it does not hurt to do it again, right :)).

This is the label for Biff's Valvoline oil cans from BTTF II. The prop labels are different from the real Valvoline labels of the time.

Edit: Label and Google Drive link to file will no longer be available due to misuse.

Below is the reference image that the prop house used to create the labels for the movie.
The typefaces and colors are not accurate to the real cans from the 1950s, but they are accurate for the prop.

Print on 8.5" x 14" sticker paper.
...

You must have been reading my mind! Two or three weeks ago I started searching for this can (a real 50's one). They seem to be super rare and very expensive. Thanks for the label! :)

I've been digging around on the site's search and ended up on this thread. I am looking for the type of envelope or pouch that the Western Union agent delivers to Marty in the rain at the end of Part 2. Is that a standard side folder that I can locate at Staples or somewhere similar?
