Back to the Future

Anyone tried to redo the "Bulldogs Vs Indians" poster ?

That would be fun! Would need a good angle of it though, to see what the rest of the poster looked like.

Been doing a little research on the three posters in frames next to the candy stand in Lou's Diner.

Top one appears to be a Wrigley's Spearmint Gum poster. In the middle is a Pepts ( candy? ) New Size, More for 5c. Not sure what these are, Peppermint creams or coconut creams or something? The bottom is a poster for Tobler 'Toblerone' swiss chocolate. After search on a few different vintage signs websites, I think I have found a match! It has the same font, colour and layout and one piece of chocolate snapped off on the right hand side.

Also interesting thing is a little later on, when George is trying to pluck up the courage to ask Lorraine to the dance, the Pepts poster appears to be at the bottom of the three in the the same scene and then it jumps up to the middle a few seconds after Marty hits Biff! :D The middle Tobler one isn't even there at one point and the Pepts one jumps from middle to bottom and then back again. Must be when they mixed in the scenes from Eric Stoltz footage.

Pepts is a mistery for me ...

Yeah, i'm not to sure either. Could be a name they made up. I can't find too much about it on Wiki

Another cool thing I found. When Doc is checking out Marty's portable Television Studio :lol, is the dog biscuit box. Also just before Doc shows Marty the scale model of the town sqaure.

After a long search of 1950's dog biscuit boxes.:D I came across the same dog on the front of a brand called ' Milk Bone '. This is the only cover with the same dog, that I can find at the moment. Another cool find, although the one on the movie appears to have a white banner over the front.

Maybe the question already add an answer, but what is the brand of alcohol, Lorraine is drinking ? I think it is Gin ...

Love the RPF forum folks, they always work together and help others.

Here is a Pepts sign replica from the Your Props page above. Thanks Miamiloco for finding it.
