The initial J came from a fan-made SS card. In the BTTF animated series and in BTTF The Game, Marty's middle name is Seamus.

If there was a prop Social Security card made for Marty, it would look just like your Michael Knight SS Card from Knight Rider.
BTTF and KR both got their paper props from the Earl Hays Press, and both were produced at approximately the same time.
The card probably would have had the same generic/fake SS number as well.

I agree! That's why I used "Seamus" for Marty's Drivers License.

I joined RPF at the end of last year as I decided I was going to mod some HC Mags and build my own BTTF II Jacket. Was looking for something totally not paper prop related tonight and stumbled across this thread. The last 82 pages have been an awesome ride. Keep it up, Roland. F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C work!!!!

Perfect! I just scored a set of HP-M15s and sure enough, the left side sticker is missing. I got some silver foil adhesive stock to duplicate the metallic look, all I needed was the design. Thanks for posting this a while back! :)

Hi.
I have a question about a paper prop from Back To The Future. May be a little off-topic, but just for curiosity. We all know the "vanishing photo" of Marty with his brother and sister. They're in front of a well posing for the photo. My question is... does anybody know where is that well? The real location of the photo. Is there a set in Universal Studios that has that well? Was the photo taken on a real location elsewhere? Was it just a fake well made for the photo and that's it?
I've been asking this question to myself for months, just for curiosity and because I love visiting real filming locations when I go to other countries.
Thanks a lot and I hope somebody can help me ;-)

Does anyone have the Fantastic Story Magazine? The best image I could find was this, and it's pretty beat up.
