Back to the Future

Just read all pages and got essentially everything off them. That was a long 10 hours ^^; Also big thanks to everyone on this forum who did contribute! Especially you Roland, you're the real MVP. I'll see what else there is in the film I could even contribute to this thread in the future!

Now it's finished, my best work so far (as I think): my Grays Sports Almanac.

The whole text on the cover and the inner pages is fully vectorized. The cover, the inner title page and the sports results page are completely redrawn and high accurate (correct fonts etc.). All the other inner pages are high quality vectorizations of 2000 dpi scans from the original source, that was also used for the real prop: the "Guinness Sports Record Book 1985-86". In my almanac you will find all 24 different pages, which were used for the real prop.

And here are the PDF files. I made two versions. One version for reading on the screen and one version for printing. Both versions have the same quality, BUT: the cover of the screen version is split into two parts and has NO SPINE, and the pages have no markers for cutting out. The print version is intended for printing on regular paper sheets and cutting out.

First, great prop! But i have a question. How do i print it so that i get a book out of it (sorry for the noob question)

There's a guy named Mark Poon that sells them for just under $50 I believe, I have two of them. Search for the almanac and you'll find it.

It is not really a prop, but I thought I would share this with you :p

I have used Roland's file and resized it to have it printed on a custom shower curtain :p Couldn't be any more pleased xD

Hi Emma! Where did you end up with your sweatshirt design? I'm thinking about embellishing yours with my French Bulldog. Yes, not screen accurate, but it would be something cool to wear to all the BTTF events this year. No one would have it!

BTW - I've poured through your BTTF posts, love your stuff!

Should I redraw him entirely then?

Thanks! I have actually had my logo screenprinted on a sweatshirt, and will probably take a few pictures this weekend! I'd love to find a similar pair of glasses too, to match the look :p
Thanks again! And nice bulldog! Too cute! Please post your version of it ^^
