Back to the Future

Do you have a Plutonium capsule from part 1 in your collection? It looks good but the yellow sticker is not accurate enough? Then my latest files are exactly what you need! I made two versions of the sticker: a version with a yellow background for white paper and a version with a clear background for yellow paper (or whatever color you like). The size of the sticker is 2 1/3 x 3/4 inches and the diameter of the red "Plutonium core" is 3/4 inches.

White/clear background: Plutonium_Capsule_White_Sticker_remade_by_Roland_Zubcic.pdf

And if you don't want to waste your paper, because the sticker is so small, you can print the following files for A4 or US-Letter sheets. Each sheet contains 39 stickers.

Yellow background US-Letter: Plutonium_Capsule_Yellow_Stickers_remade_by_Roland_Zubcic_US-Letter.pdf

You can use the stickers for free for any purposes (even for commercial purposes).

Did the props have anything written on them? I just ordered materials to make a few screen accurate plutonium chambers. Already have the files drawn for the CNC machine ;)

I don't know if the capsules in the movie have anything written on them, but the one which is for sale on PropStore doesn't have. Do you have the correct dimensions for the capsules? It's 6 x 3 inches (height x diameter). And the "Plutonium core" is 7 x 3/4 inches (without the two rings).

If they come out like I expect them to... depending on time to build, I would probably offer a limited run of them.

I'm very much looking forward to the results. :)

By the way: Thanks to this thread I have thought why not filling clear candle gel into the capsules (to imitate water)? Would that work? What do you think?

I'm not sure about the cost versus candle gel, but there is a product that simulates water as well, you can usually find it around the fake flowers in a craft store. It turns hard, acrylic-like, and you shouldn't have any concerns about leakage once it cures. This is kind of what I'm talking about: 12 oz Quick Water Artificial Water Kit $9

Sorry but the correct size of the badge is not 1.5 inches, it is 1.25 inches.

I own one that was made by the company that made the one seen in the film, and here you can see its size:

It seems I was called. :D

Alright, here is my design of Marty's "Art In Revolution" badge. The badge has the correct size of 38 mm (1.5 inches) and one paper sheet (A4 or US-Letter) contains 15 printed badges. The cutting size of the single badge is 51 mm (2 inches). Now you just need a badge making machine. ;)

Thanks for the info and the picture. The design of your badge actually seems to be high accurate and original. I think I have to revise my own design. ;) Are you sure that the company didn't make badges with the same design in different sizes?

I'm sure that the size I own is the size seen in the movie. The administrator of the BTTF.com website store (which is where I bought the button years ago) told me that the small company that had produced these pins originally had sold their entire inventory to BTTF.com, and that this was the screen-accurate button.

Good to know. Thanks again for the infos. :) By the way: your badge is slightly larger than 1.25 inches. It's exactly 32 mm. ;)

I really appreciate any help, especially if someone has original stuff. ;)

Since it's 32 mm, the badge could have been produced by a non-US company. I'd really like to know their name. Maybe we should ask bttf.com? :lol

I revised and uploaded my "Art in Revolution" design again and edited my old post. Now it's really screen accurate. If you had downloaded my file before, please download it again and replace the old file. Thanks again to SquidMan. :)
