Re: Free paper-prop thread no.3 - 2008

Thanks Roland the check is awesome, hope you do a run of them as I don't have an a2 printer! Great work as always:)
quick question is there a white border on/around the check and is that included in the size if you know what I mean?
thanks again :)

Thank you! :) Yes, I'm considering offering a printed vinyl decal on a thin acrylic plate. The original check is printed on cardboard, but I prefer the more durable vinyl/acrylic combination.

No, the screen used check doesn't have a white border. If you print my file in original size on a A2 sheet, just trim the check around the thin black border.

Here is a picture of the original check on the SDCC 2011:

And a picture from screenused.com - the white border that you can see here, is just part of the frame:

I guess that's just the light (or bad VHS discoloration). You can see white "borders" everywhere, around Biff's jacket, his hair, the hat of the man behind him ... If you look at the left top of the check on that screen cap, you can see that the yellow background goes up to the edge.

I'd love it if you did a run of these!

What is that cylindrical case between the briefcase and toolbox!?

Looks like a trash can. It has a radioactive warning sticker on it like it's meant to receive the spent plutonium cartridges. But doesn't Doc end up putting the cartridge back in the case? Or maybe it was to wad up the suits and stuff them in there. Would be cool to replicate and use as my office trash can...

Got another screencap of the 'garbage can.' I think it has a latch or something across the top. I was guessing it might have been one of those pedal-operated garbage cans, but I don't see a pedal. It might just as easily be used to lock it shut.

Does anyone happen to know what's clipped to Doc's pocket on his radiation coveralls? (a tag of some sort) I've been trying to find some good screencaps, but can't find any.

It's been a while, but finally finished my bulldogs book x) What I did is that I used an A2 brown paper and cut a long strip ( 2 A4s) that I then, printed on my A4 printer :p This is why the logo on my file is upside down :)

Good job, Emma
Thanks for sharing your work. What type / texture of Brown paper did you use to print it?
Thanks
