Back to the Future in Theaters all over the US

Thanks to this thread, I have my tickets for Saturday's show.

How early should I get to the theatre to load up on the goodies?

Does anyone have a half a dozen street cones?

We should lay out a path and drive it.

Some one bring a video camera too.

Michael thanks for posting this!

Brad and I were chatting just last night, and I was telling him how much of a schmuck I felt like for not recalling your first name, especially since you were a guest in my home! I'm sorry!

no worries, I totally understand. I rarely post my name and I am the noob. It was fun hanging out with the cool kids club ;) haha

and it was cool to see the death star...so technically, I owe you for all that fun..

Just got out. Picture was amazing. Sound was amazing. Seeing it with an audience was great. They did trivia beforehand with prizes and we got our posters on the way out. Great way to spend a few hours

And now I get to top the celebration off by seeing it again tomorrow with YOU magillas!

Did you ask her out for Monday!? :love

By the way - is any body else going in '80's garb?

I thought about wearing my letterman's jacket, since I was basically the same graduating class as Marty McFly.

Dunno...

Would that be appropriate, or a bit silly?

Oh, man...I just realized I have a Midterm Exam for 5-9pm tomorrow. College sucks. :(

I picked up my ticket earlier today. I'm going to the 7pm showing on Oct. 25 (the date from the film).

You know, I realized something just a few minutes ago. The DeLorean's first trip (with Einstein) through time was at 1:21 am. And since the reason why 88 MPH is what is needed to go through time are both (technically) infinity symbols (which are symbolic in the film), the time is also symbolic for the fact that a few minutes later, Doc points out that the DeLorean needs 1.21 jigowatts (gigawatts) of electricity for the time travel ability to work.

I'm officially conflicted about dressing up as Marty again...

I just saw that Claudia is going to be at the screening tomorrow night, too via her FB page:

"Claudia Wells - Monday (Oct 25th), you can find me introducing and doing a short Q and A at the evening screening of Back To The Future at Punte Hills AMC theatre and signing your posters for an hour after the show...."

Awesome for everybody, but just how much of a dork do I want to look like. I did message her to let her know about the little get together beforehand...you never know!

So, who all is going in costume, 80's attire?

I was the only one in costume at the Uni screening, but I also got quite a few nods of approval...

I dunno...help a brother out here...
