Anymore news on these shoes. It would be great to see a run. I always thought of making my own and I know of a good base shoe. When I have time to spend on this project I think I may give it a try. Until then let's see if someone may step up and try to make a pair.

Jedifyfe & Pitbull got a pair from me & both were able to hook them up with ELs. This is the thread:

The shoes are 100% wearable & a guy who got a pair from me wore them to Walmart & he tells me everyone there was looking at his McFlys

The craziest part about this link is that, several pages (and apparently years) back, someone suggested how the auto-laces could be achieved, accompanied with a crude hand-drawn schematic. The professional pic from today looks very similar. I'd post the pics side by side , but I don't know how to yet.

I have. They said it would be a neat idea to take on, but weren't willing for whatever reason. Something to do with the materials and time involved.
Here's a pic of mine I bought from Mark poon with lights and a custom battery pack I installed to fit in the insole, and a strap I made with on/off switches

So... so far noone has shoes that are absolutely 100% film acurate. But we're obviously getting very close. I've tested a strap with EL strips tonight, and was curious if anyone would soil themselves of disappointment if the NIKE logos were a little smaller than the ones Mark Poon has been providing us so far? Here's a video. Let me know what you guys think, but other than the top and botom boarder being a little too thick I don't think this looks that bad. YouTube - EL logo test 1 - BTTF Mags‏ any thoughts?
