It would be a nice touch if I can find glass eyes his shape and color, otherwise I'll have to mimic the shininess using other methods.

Excellent, ya I searched some myself and found a few. Now I just need to measure his eyes on my prototype print to see what size, and select the right color. So I definitely think glass eyes will be on this groot.

This is AWESOME! I just finished a rush-build over two days-attached- (built the detonator, with Baby Groot then upplied by Calen Hoffman on the RPF Facebook), and didn't have the knowledge or time to figure out the electronics. Your 3d model is spot on and would love to see this thing done expertly and functional!
