Unlimited Run Baby groot with bomb - NOW SELLING!

Hey, I just saw the trailer for the new movie and saw mini groot! He's so cool (I am groot) haha. I thought it would be awesome to create baby groot about to press the button on the bomb. I have modeled the baby groot and bomb and am currently waiting for the shapeways prints to arrive in the mail. The bomb will include all the wires, lights, digital display and mesh that you see in the screen cap. By the time I'm done with it, it will look like the real deal for groot lol! Everything will be powered via a 9v battery that will be easily accessible for battery changes, but concealed so you won't know it's in the model. All the parts of the bomb that you don't see in my renders will be real world parts, and the LED buttons will be real as well, I just put these in the render for place markers and visual.

I will be casting Baby groot and some parts of the bomb. I will most likely be painting the groots and bombs myself, unless someone wants an unpainted one.

So any interest in this Baby groot / LED bomb combo?

Ok, so I think I've finished up the details on the baby groot. Some of the extra details would be added after it's all put together, like some moss and little twigs that come out from his body. At this point I think it's ready for print, most likely going to go through shapeways for this one. Anyone interested?

Got a prototype baby groot printed. It will give you an idea of overall size, pose and stuff. If I can generate any interests in this little guy I'll be getting the main print or master from shapeways. I already have the files ready to go, I just need to confirm some interests before I put the order through shapeways.

Hello, he is 7 3/4'' tall and yes he will be coming with the bomb. At this point size/scale could be changed easily if needed, but as of right now that is how big he is. Once I get him printed through shapeways - I doubt I would be changing the size at that point unless everyone wanted him bigger or smaller.

For price I'm thinking:

Baby groot with bomb: raw casts - $ around $80

Baby groot finished, with bomb finished and painted - $ around $150-175
with working LED buttons (bomb)

The raw cast version of the bomb would still include the LED buttons but would have to be installed etc... by the buyer, much like a kit, and the body of the bomb wouldn't be painted or come with the wire,tape, and little extras that make it a finished prop.

NECA is putting out a Groot that is 10". Not sure if that is accurate to the movie. Thought it might be good info just in case.

Thanks, I looked at the reference again and made slight adjustments, but in the end the scale was pretty much the same to the original with the bomb being around 4'' long and groot being around 8'' tall, I guess you could say 8.5 if he was standing straight up, but because he's in a pose, his back and shoulder are arched slightly. Like in the screen cap right as he's about to push the button. And this size looks really good, not to big or to small.

small update: I added more details and fixed some things to the bomb that I noticed to make it more accurate, I sourced and ordered all the electronic parts required to make the digital display, and I've also ordered the groot and bomb prints from shapeways and will be waiting for them to come in the mail!

Anyone else interested?

I'll add all of you to the list and keep you updated. I printed off the bottom section of the bomb to check for correct sizing for the 9V battery, and it came out perfect.
