I took all the clear shots of "Wolfy", shuriken, blades, whip, Predalien, vision, etc and man oh man does the movie ever look awesome so far...

These pics are taken from the HD version, so watch out - they are massive! Enjoy...I know I did...

I know it takes time to do any amount of screen caps.

Now, get back to it and do some more when the next trailer comes out!!!! I've still got space on my hard drive!!!!!!

Thanks for the caps Jason...makes it so much easier then pausing the trailer over and over again. I am really enjoying elements of the first two movies that they are bringing into this one. I watched P1 last night ( just a fluke really, it was running on Spike TV right after I checked out the trailer) They even use the crackling energy right befor the bomb guant goes off in the new flick. Speaking of the bomb guant...anybody else notice how prominent part of the armor the new wrist computer is. Also looks like this Pred has a different face. Hard to tell from the screen caps, but there is something up with the lower mandibles...extra tooth protruding or something.

B) Me too but I hope they'll don't show any for now. It'll be one of those little surprises when you'll see the movie for the first time in the cinema.
I love the way he looks though, they clearly paid attention to the feedback on AVP1 over the years.

If you look close the hero has a belt across his chest, in the pic where "a" Pred is getting stuck by the alien tail....no chest belt. So, maybe the ending isnt screwed or there is already a continuity flub. ......fingers crossed.
 
yes you pictures really helps.
Im not that happy about the two cannons and I really dont like the whip, but I still think they bring the old predator back.
I dont know why I have this feeling, but I just think the head will look like rubber, and not like pa and P2.

Do you know how many trailers they will make?
 
Looking good. Thanks for the caps. I dont really like the duel cannons though. They kinda look half assed. Looks like someone stuck two sticks into thier back and just mounted the cannons on.
 
in the first pic,
the mandibles and jaw line appear to be well below the bio helmet.like it doesnt fit well..or even close to well.
i know the other pred helmets ,my helmet (and most others) sit right along that jaw line nice and snug.

as the photos were loading that first pic was HUGE and it was really easy to see the helmet didnt fit right.
anyway to zoom in on it?
 
great caps... the more i look at it, the more i like the whole look of the film....gotta give the strausse bros their props... they really didn't pull any punches with what we've seen so far.. Once i saw what they did with the USMC commercial i felt good about this project for them...yes i am biased

**** even give it up to 20thcentury FOX, hey took their time and came out with what i would consider probaby one of the best trailers done in a long time...not just because it's AVP2, but overall i can't remember seeing a trailer that raw and gory in a long time, if at all.

maybe after all the griping, bitching and moaning over AVP the past few years, we did have some influence the creature...maybe not. to be honest ......don't care.....it's all just fanboy conjecture.

looks like ian has finally got the moves and the bad ass attitude required.. i would imagine he couldn't pull it off with a armored tank sitting on his ****** back in AVP1. good for him...

i'm just glad that finally something really kick ass is heading our way... never thought it would happen to be honest

now we just need a PREDATOR 3 movie and i can die happy.
 
I acted like a good nerd and made a wallpaper for my work PC - my '67 Shelby Mustang GT 500 is on vacation. Thought, maybe you'll like it.
