How do you accomplish putting scales on these things as opposed to just regular spots? They look very frustrating and time consuming work, but very well worth it I must say.

That thing looks amazing! Proportions look awesome. Everything looks tight and sleek skin wise (my preference), dreads look incredible as well, and you are short changing yourself on your painting. You see it and everything you changed or wished you could change while you painting it. We are all seeing the finished product with no bias and I am telling you, it looks spot on. I really like the bio lense reflection color. Very cool. Honestly, that dude would scare the bejesus out of me as well, and the eyes...wow wow wow.
